NSW: Man getting rid of poison prompts evacuations

SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - A man trying to get rid of old poison today led to the evacuationof a country NSW hospital and surrounding areas.
Police said four sites in the tiny far western town of Wilcannia, population 500, hadbeen evacuated after the man presented ill at hospital after driving about with the suspectsubstances.
Superintendent Geoff McKechnie said the Wilcannia Hospital, housing only seven patients,and its staff, had been evacuated to the local school as a safety precaution.
